CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Lusty Library, one of the premier online communities for erotic literature, recently announced the winners of its Story of the Year contest for 2008.
The top honor went to "Oldsmobile Dream Machine" by sensuousacumen. The second-place winner was "Faulty Handcuffs" by angiewalkerblue, and in third place was "Jillie and the Android" by samanthajewel.
Since 2006, the erotic archive has held a yearlong contest highlighting the best stories posted to the site, which culminates in naming the Story of the Year.
Every week the Lusty Librarian chooses a featured story. At the end of each month, one submission is picked from those four to be the story of the month. From those, the Story of the Year is chosen.
The prizes for the end of the year contest, as well as 2008's annual Halloween Fiction Contest prizes, were donated to the site by Stockroom.com, an Internet supplier of sex toys.
The site's administrator, known as the Lusty Librarian, said, "Between Stockroom's donations for the contests, great new authors joining the site, and new members coming to enjoy stories every day, the site has just kept getting better since I came aboard. I'm so honored to be part of it."
