CYBERSPACE—A webcam performer has announced publicly that she is engaged to marry one of her frequent customers, live video chat site LiveCamNetwork.com has said.
"Trixie is actually a Southern Charms girl, who's been appearing and incredibly popular on LiveCamNetwork.com via our software's MBase shared-performer function," announced site owner Mark Prince, who was featured in 2005's docudrama series, "Webdreams."
Southern Charms has been operating its SCLiveCams.com webcam section on LiveCamNetwork, the 2much.net live video chat platform, for at least five years now," he said, adding of the blossoming romance, "It's one of the risks of the so-called business. In "Webdreams," one of our models fell in love with a user and ran off to be married, which she still is today."
In fact, there have been other models "lost" to matrimonial bliss in LiveCamNetwork.com 's history, said studio manager Brookelynne Briar. "It's a natural occurrence. The best chat girls are honest, up-front, basically projecting an amplified version of themselves. And webcam chat is all about interactivity, communication—if kindred souls come across each other even while it's supposed to be a business transaction, ultimately how can they resist one another?
"That's one way to lose a valuable performer, but we can only wish them well and future happiness forever." said Briar.
"In fact," added Prince, "so far, all these people have had the best relationships and stable marriages of many people I know."
The performer in question, "Trixie Taylor," posted the following comments in the LiveCamNetwork Forum: "After a year of flying back and forth to San Francisco/Vegas... we are going to spend the rest of our lives together," she wrote. "We both thank you Mark for bringing us together; we never knew this kind of love existed and finding it in such a crazy way is so surreal."
"Sometimes," concluded Prince, "love happens in porn."
