POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Lexi Lapetina, a pin-up model and owner of her own website, has created a profile broadcast on Justin.tv. For those of you that haven't heard of Justin.tv, it's a website that features PG "webcasters", from all walks of life, broadcasting their lives via the internet and a webcam.
"It hasn't even been 24 hours and the controversy has already begun", said Alberto Lapetina, a photographer and Lexi's other half. "We knew we'd immediately get some haters giving us flack about our profession, and they're entitled to their opinions and all, but forget them," Lapetina laughs. "We don't tell them how to live their lives, why do they feel the right to tell us how to live ours?"
When asked if she was bothered by the barrage of criticism and verbal attacks that she endured within the first 10 minutes of her debut, Lexi said "You know what, there's nothing wrong with what I do and I'm extremely proud of my accomplishments. It takes a lot to get under my skin, and come on there are all kinds of people broadcasting on that website from politicians to religious groups, and everything in between. That's what makes our country so great! Diversity! Wake up people!" Lexi said her intentions on Justin.tv are no different from anyone else's featured on the website.
