LOS ANGELES -- JQ Media has launched DickShare.com, a gay companion site to SnizzShare.com
"It was an idea I had two years ago, but the guy I had programming it dropped the ball. It's good to finally see it come to fruition," owner Jason Quinlan told AVN Online. "It is a tube site that allows gay affiliate programs to upload content and receive credit for the sales. It already has some decent traffic."
Quinlan said all the gay content and user accounts from SnizzShare were imported to the new site.
"So if you have ever uploaded content to SnizzShare you are now getting double exposure. Also, all of the banners, content, logins and user accounts have been migrated. There is no need to even sign up again," he said.
Quinlan said he was inspired to create the new site when he noticed the gay clips on SnizzShare were pulling sales, but getting much lower clicks than the straight.
"SnizzShare has a primarily straight audience and we thought we might be alienating some of the more homophobic surfers," he said.
Quinlan is confident the new site will take JQ Media further into gay-niche offerings.
"With the launch of DickShare.com, we can get deeper into it than we could before, when we only had a single gay category on a straight site," he said.
SnizzShare.com is no longer taking gay submissions.
