Global Electronic Technology, Inc. (GET) today announced the appointment of Linda Grimm as Executive Vice President of Operations. Ms. Grimm will lead company operations including Customer Service, Deployment, Risk Management, Underwriting, Technical Support and IT for Global Electronic Technology and affiliate OrbitalPay, LLC.
Ms. Grimm joined GET in August and reports directly to Steven H. Bryson, Founder and CEO of Global Electronic Technology and OrbitalPay.
Ms. Grimm is a seasoned payments executive holding multiple accreditations including Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Project Management Professional (PMP). She has extensive experience managing operations for domestic and international merchant acquirers. Her most recent position with Compliance Solutions and Resources (CSR) as Director of Consulting Services allowed her to utilize her skill set and credentials to manage multiple consulting projects during a time of growth of CSR’s privacy consulting practice.
Previously, as President of TRX Processing, a wholesale ISO, she utilized her skills and experience to build a full service operation designed to provide the best possible service at competitive rates with a diverse product offering catering to the needs of small business merchant customers.
As Director of US Operations for Moneris Solutions, Ms. Grimm was responsible for the Merchant Boarding, Customer Support and Risk Management functions for the US division of Moneris as well as overseeing the successful integration and conversion of Humboldt Merchant Services’ portfolio to Moneris’ operating structure.
Prior to working with Moneris, she spent 13 years with Humboldt Merchant Services (HMS). As the Director of Operations, she directed all outward-facing operational functions including:Account boarding, Risk Management, Underwriting, Compliance, Chargebacks, Customer Service and Technical Support. She became an expert in the area of regulatory and card brand compliance, participating in an ETA Technology presentation on PCI Compliance at the ETA Annual Expo in 2007 and was part of the ETA Risk Committee that same year.

Ms. Grimm currently serves on the Western States Acquirers Association (WSAA) Advisory Board and the Electronic Transaction Association’s Data Security Task Force. Linda is a member of both the Merchant Acquirers’ Committee (MAC) and Women Networking in Electronic Transactions (WNET). A frequent speaker and author of numerous articles, including a contribution to C3ET’s book, “Credit Card Processing for Sales Agents,” Ms. Grimm utilizes her extensive experience to promote education and awareness throughout the payments industry.
Linda obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from CSU, Chico.
