MIAMI—FyreTV has announced its participation as an exhibitor at the 2011 Cable Show in Chicago, June 14-16. The Cable Show is the largest event of its kind every year and this year will feature a keynote from former Obama Chief of Staff and current Chicago mayor, Rahm Emanuel.
For over 60 years the Cable Show has been the place for cable operators to identify and acquire both new content and technologies. This year the event will be held at McCormick Place, a Chicago landmark and the largest convention center in the country.
FyreTV will be exhibiting alongside other popular mainstream content providers like National Geographic, ESPN, Disney, HBO, A&E, Bravo, BBC America, MTV, BET, Discovery, C-Span, HSN, IFC, Lifetime, NBC, CBS, OWN, Univision, HDNet, and many others.
“Based off our successful implementation with Toya in Poland we are fully ready to integrate the true FyreTV experience with forward thinking MSOs (multiple service operators) that have deployed or are building IP services for their subscribers,” said Josh Stevens, FyreTV Director of Marketing. “We have received a number of inquiries from tier 1 operators that are looking for a proper ROI from their new interactive offerings, and are excited about being in millions of homes across the country and around the world in a relatively short time frame.”
FyreTV will be available for meetings and demos throughout the course of the event. Interested press and attendees can request a meeting in advance or stop by booth number 1917 for what is sure to be the hottest content on display at McCormick Place.
