Topping the list this month is Jenna Haze in the number one spot, with Belladonna, Jesse Jane, Tera Patrick and Mary Carey rounding out the top 5. Sunny Leone topped the list for most popular Vivid Girl, with Belladonna again taking the top spot for being the most popular porn star on Twitter, while Vicky Vette topped the list for most popular porn star website. New this month to the list is blonde bombshell Riley Evans. In all Fame Registry tracks the popularity of 158 porn stars at its website www.FameRegistry.com.
Interestingly enough this month industry vets like Janine and Tory Lane both made significant jumps this month on the list. Janine moves up from 20 last month to 15 this month with Tory Lane going from 26 last month to 17 this month.
"I think Janine and Tory Lane both had such big jumps this month because of the successes of their official websites,” said Kelli Roberts, who runs the Fame Registry website. “Janine launched her new site Free Janine through Earl Miller while Tory Lane gave her site a head to toe makeover with the help of Premium Cash. I really think the success of these websites has helped them go up the ranks of popularity."
Fame Registry compiles a list of porn stars monthly using various sources of public data such as Alexa rankings, Google term frequency, number of friends on MySpace, # of followers on Twitter, Internet based Keyword Rating for their names, total number of searches for each porn star, domain name values, the number of magazine appearances in publications such as Penthouse, Genesis Swank and Hustler, and the number of awards from AVN, XRCO and FAME are all accounted for to determine who the hottest porn stars are. 158 porn stars are currently being tracked, and the site also provides information regarding each star such as their birthday, astrological sign, and their measurements.
