CANOGA PARK, Calif. -- The Free Speech Coalition will hold a silent auction at next week's AdultCon consumer show, March 20-22, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
"We are thrilled AdultCon presented us with this fundraising opportunity," FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero said.
The auction will be held on the convention floors and all attendees are encouraged to join in.
"We had a huge success with our live/silent auction at the FSC Bash event in October, so I'm sure this will create a lot of excitement for the fans to have the chance to bid on adult and sports memorabilia, art and other highly collectable items," Cachapero added. "We plan on persuading adult industry members to make donations to be auctioned, offering consumers something unique and special to purchase. Proceeds from the auction go to the FSC and we greatly appreciate the support."
The auction will be coordinated by professional auctioneers BangTheGavel.com, which produces auctions for charity fundraising events nationwide.
"AdultCon is pleased to donate the space for the auction," said event Founder Renaud West.
"We invite and urge adult industry businesses to donate to this most worthy cause," Cachapero said.
