CYBERSPACE—Building on the recent addition of VOD functionality to its CMS software platform, Elevated X has added new features to its beta VOD release.
Additions include shopping cart support for both CCBill and Epoch. This lets site owners the choose a “buy now” shopping cart or combined purchase processes. Customers can also load funds into their account. This now enables site owners to choose their preferred paysite business model.
According to the company, what this means is that if site owners want to run a site like iTunes and have people buy videos and stream them with one click, they can do that. If they prefer a Clips4Sale-style storefront where users can buy and download video scenes, they can do that. Or site owners can be like Amazon Prime and give some videos to existing members for free and upsell others for a fee. And finally, if they want to offer streaming videos to members but charge extra for downloads, site owners can do that, too.
“Offering on-demand content purchasing options is an area of easy expansion for most of our clients. We’ve put a lot of effort into offering a simple, out-of-the-box solution that requires zero customization and very little support so our adult CMS software users can take advantage of new revenue streams,” said Elevated X CEO A.J. Hall.
The new beta shopping cart and site structure features are zero cost upgrades for Elevated X Pro CMS users. In addition, there are maximum purchase options to allow for easy biller compliance and automated fraud prevention methods.
