NEW YORK -- Edge Interactive Publishing has launched the "K.V.i.B. Bathing Beauties Hosted Gallery" on its Picticon Vintage Portal.
K.V.i.B. Bathing Beauties was perhaps the largest color printing of its day, a German-American postcard series featuring women in then-scandalous states, scantily clad, smoking and such, from the pre-World War I era.
The K.V.i.B. postcards were printed in Germany and considered very risqué at the time, according to BikiniScience.com.
Picticon showcases more than 100 years of pornography and erotic material, spanning the 1850s through the 1980s.
The site features more than 12,000 photos, firstly categorized by decade. The photos are grouped by themes, which include XXX hardcore, nudes and pinups, movie star and celebrity nudes, feature dancers and burlesque stars, bathing beauties and other pinups, plus older magazine covers.
