QUEBEC—Peakafeller (Sébastien Hamel), a well known Canadian DJ and music producer, recently joined the Crakmedia team as head of a creative team in charge of creating promotional videos for all Crakmedia products.
Peakafeller will be involved in the creation of promo clips and ad campaigns, as well as the creation of original music for other projects. A self-taught wunderkind, the company says Peak will help bring a new vision to Crakmedia's young and dynamic team.
Over the past two decades, Peakafeller's career has evolved, driving him to the higher reaches of musical exploration. Since creating the provocative song, “She’s a Bitch,” in 2001, which toured the world and is still heard today, his style evolved and matured to include more electro-sounds and house-music with a predominantly rock sound, the company said.
"We are very proud to welcome Peakafeller amongst us," said Crakmedia CEO, Axel Vezina. "He's an old friend of the company and we welcome his creative talents to better the products every department is working on. He's someone that quickly understood the importance of networking and has a knack for creating viral content that will quickly draw the public's attention to whatever product we are promoting. We have a lot of projects lined up for Peakafeller and look forward to announcing our new product launches to all our affiliates."
Peakafeller has worked with Daniel Desnoyers on “Time to Move” and “4 Ladies,” and on exciting remixes for international artists such as P-1, Jimmy Lidell, Mosquito-B, Robert Vadney, Many of his original compositions such as “Tecktonik,” “Everything is All Right” and others can be found on compilations around the globe.
