QUEBEC CITY—CrakRevenue and CECash, in collaboration with Qwebec Expo, are collaborating on the very first edition of Hockey Night in Qwebec, a friendly ice hockey game held as a side event of the upcoming Qwebec Expo trade show.
Hockey Night in Qwebec will be held Friday, August 9 at the Bell Sports Complex in Montreal, which is the practice facility of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens.
Both CrakRevenue and CECash sponsored previous editions of the Qwebec Expo show. This year they teamed up to offer an original, typically Canadian activity to the trade show’s participants.
"Hockey is a religion in Canada, and a big part of my life, so I’m very proud and thrilled to organize a hockey game. This dynamic and friendly event will be a great occasion to get to know more of the leading actors of our industry,” said Axel Vézina, CrakRevenue partner and head analyst.
Vézina wants everyone to feel welcome to participate: "Come out and play, be a referee, a coach, a scorekeeper, a cheerleader, but make sure to be there. It will be a lot of fun."
All participants are welcome to join the activity regardless of their hockey skills, although those who want to play should at least be capable skaters.
Transportation from the Marriott Chateau Champlain Hotel to the hockey arena and back is provided by CrakRevenue and CECash. Hockey equipment will also be available for participants who do not have their own.
