Constitutional Author, Computer Forensics Expert Frederick Lane Making Calif. Appearances

SAN FRANCISCO --  This April, noted constitutional author and computer forensics expert Frederick Lane will be offering his popular continuing legal education seminar, "Digital Dirt: Computer Forensics for Lawyers," in four California Bay Area locations.

April 8, Lane will speak at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco; April 9 at the W Hotel in Newark; April 13 at the Sheraton Sunnyvale in the town of Sunnyvale; and April 14 at the Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey.

Certification for six hours of continuing legal education credit, including one hour of ethics credit, is currently pending with the State Bar of California.

II. Trends in Data Creation, Storage and Transmission (10:05-11:10 a.m.)

III. Developments in Forensic Hardware and Software (11:15-12:15 p.m.)

  Lunch (12:15-1:15pm)

IV. Forensic Search and Seizure: Overview of Procedure and Law (1:15-2:15 p.m.)

  V. Recent Federal and State Computer Forensic Decisions [jurisdiction-specific] (2:20-3:20 p.m.)

VI. The Ethics of Electronic Data [one hour Ethics credit] (3:30-4:30 p.m.)
