CYBERSPACE—After celebrating its first year online a couple of months ago, Camplace.com is continuing to revel in its success by giving its loyal fans a treat. Timed to mark the winter holidays, the website is holding a contest to give back to the members who have helped it grow.
Recently on the Camplace blog, the company announced that it would hold a contest starting on December 1 and ending on the 31st. The “December Giveaway” will take place on the Camplace Facebook page. Every day for the duration of the month, Camplace will post a photo on the wall and invite users to like it, share it or comment on it. Any activity on the pictures will be considered participation in the contest, and a winner will be chosen randomly every day.
Camplace is offering 200 free tokens (worth 19.95 Euros) to each of the 31 winners. It will also give away a grand prize of 2,500 tokens to one lucky individual at the end of the month, marking the end of the contest and the approaching New Year. The grand prize will be given to the fan who shared the most photos for the duration of the giveaway.
Camplace spokesperson Joanna explained the rules of the contest: “It isn’t necessary that our Facebook fans have Camplace accounts in order to win. They can simply make an account afterward to get their free tokens. We’d love to see some new people on the site this way, and also offer them an experience like they’ve never had before on any other live cam site!”
The other conditions are quite straightforward. All contestants are eligible to win if they respect several simple rules. Participants in the contest must have previously liked Camplace’s official Facebook page; they must be active when it comes to the photos involved in the giveaway (either by liking, sharing or commenting on them); and they must have at least ten Facebook friends and a profile that is no less than three months old. Users must also be at least 18 years old and their shares must be visible publicly.
Keep up with the December Giveaway both on Facebook and on the Camplace Twitter account. To read more about the website and its progress, read this article on AVN.com or visit Camplace.com directly.
