Badoink Presents 'Future of SexTech' Roundtable at Euro Summit

BARCELONA, Spain—BaDoink, a leading SexTech and lifestyle magazine, today announced the inaugural edition of its Future of SexTech roundtable at the European Summit in Barcelona. The event will take place on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 1:30-2:30pm CET. John Lane, editor-in-chief of BaDoink Magazine (@BaDoinkOfficial), will moderate the panel of industry leaders.

“We’re well into the 21st Century now,” said John Lane. “It makes sense that we as a sexual and as a technological species are exploring how we can combine those elements of our nature – and, make no mistake, technology is a part of our nature – in ways that both display are ingenuity and, of course, are fun to play with. 2015 will be the year it kicks off in the mainstream. The SexTech revolution starts here.”

In January, Todd Glider, CEO BaDoink, was quoted in Tech Cocktail’s, “Will ‘50 Shades of Grey’ Help Make 2015 the Year of SexTech”, citing, “2015 will be remembered as the year SexTech broke through. It will inspire investment, debate, even controversy. We will see a tug-of-war between innovators, politicians, special interests and tech giants, all vying for their share of the news cycle.”

BaDoink magazine’s mission is to drive the SexTech discussion in 2015 and beyond, leading the charge to a more open, sex-positive dialogue in the mainstream as the voice of the new SexTech generation. The Future of SexTech roundtable is the first of many on- and offline platforms BaDoink is harnessing to amplify this important discussion.

In addition, in February 2015, BaDoink launched the #SexTechTalk Twitter chat, a bi-monthly discussion on the convergence of sex and tech. The chat features guest moderators as well as BaDoink writers and runs on Wednesdays at 3pm EST twice monthly. Simply use #SexTechTalk to join the fun and lively debate.
