MOBILELAND—Mobile ad network Adultmoda issued a statement today on a bunch of statistics it culled from the recent Mobile World Congress, which took place last week in Barcelona, Spain. Deciding this time around against providing a full review of the event—"There are enough of those around (some much better than others)"—the company instead gathered the aforementioned stats, in case someone wants to include them in their next sales pitch.
"These stats are not adult industry specific," the company, which says it had nearly 150 billion ad requests in 2013, noted in its statement. The company concluded, "Not sure who comes up with all these stats or how accurate they all are, but one thing is for certain, the mobile opportunity is huge. At some point we may break out a few of these points and discuss what they mean to adult mobile advertising and Adultmoda, but right now we just want to give you a taste of the figures that were being thrown around at MWC this year."
