8th Annual YNOT Awards Set for Sept. 15 in Prague

PRAGUE—Award presenters will take the stage at the National House of Vinohrady in Prague to name the best of the best in the online adult entertainment space during the 8th Annual YNOT Awards Prague, slated for Sept. 15.

“Every year the YNOT Awards has been a great event—and this year promises to be even better,” said YNOT Group co-owner and awards show producer Jay Kopita. “On top of the usual excitement and anticipation surrounding people wondering who is going to win each award, we have some special, unannounced guests we’ll be calling up onto the stage, great entertainment and a couple other surprises up our sleeves.”

In addition to 36 category winners selected by their industry peers in voting—which ran through the middle of last month—YNOT will name two new members (one individual and one company) for induction into the YNOT Hall of Fame.

In the eight years since the YNOT Awards first launched, the awards have been embraced as one of the most prestigious honors members of the adult industry can win. The fact the nominees and winners are all chosen in closed, industry-only voting “boosts the legitimacy” of the awards, Kopita said.

“It’s an honor to win any of the industry’s major awards,” Kopita said. “But knowing you’ve been chosen by your industry peers, the people who know the most about the challenges involved in the work you do, makes the YNOT Awards even more special.”

Kopita will be joined in emceeing the event by co-host Natalie Pannon, the Business Development Manager for Mojohost.

The show’s opening entertainment will come courtesy of the Unique Quartet, a Czech string quartet which plays popular tunes, rendering them in an orchestral style that enhances and transforms the original composition. Later in the evening, magician Philipp Schwarz will provide his own brand of imaginative slight-of-hand to stun and entertain the crowd.

Complimentary transportation will be provided to bring guests to the National House of Vinohrady, starting at 6:15 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. followed by the awards presentation, which will begin at approximately 8:15 p.m.

For those without a dinner reservation, free seating is available in the balcony of Mayakovsky Hall, which will also feature a cash bar. Kopita said arrangements can be made at the door, as well, for those who show up without a reservation, but would like to purchase a dinner table seat. Balcony guests should arrive no later than 8 p.m. to assure they can be seated before the awards show begins.
