PENNSAUKEN—Williams Trading University has joined with CalExotics to create a new course for its Health & Wellness Channel.
Having produced a number of products such as the Inspire line that focuses on female wellness and health concerns, Calexotics was an ideal partner for the effort, according to the announcement.
“WTU is a great resource for education, so when the Williams Trading team expanded on that to include health and wellness, we wanted to take part in it,” said Nichole Grossman, Calexotics Director of Marketing. “At CalExotics, we believe education is an essential part of our industry and are thrilled to help educate our partners with the help of Dr. Jill McDevitt.”
“Pelvic Floor Health - Sponsored by CalExotics,” available here, was written by CalExotics in-house expert, Dr. Jill McDevitt, whose knowledge and expertise on the subject is delivered in an engaging and fun manner. Students who have taken courses from Calexotics on the regular Williams Trading University platform may be familiar with the sex expert, who has hosted product training videos in the past.
“Dr. Jill has this energy about her that draws you in,” says Rachel M., Coordinator for Williams Trading University, referring to McDevitt’s warm personality. “We knew what she could do with product training, so we were very excited to have her write and appear in this course.”
The course explains just what the pelvic floor is and what it does, covers some of the disorders that can affect both women and men’s pelvic floor health and how retailers can discuss the subject with their customers and make recommendations on how to strengthen the pelvic floor.
The course covers a lot of information, but it is far from dry and boring; students taking this module will get a good base of knowledge on the pelvic floor and issues that can arise throughout life. But Dr. Jill keeps the information easily digestible and understandable with humor and engaging analogies to keep e-Learners following along.
This is a foundational course for any retailer, as it focuses on an area of the body that not only has a role in a person’s ability to have orgasms, but also helps retailers understand the possible issues a consumer might be having in regards to health and wellness as a whole and offering potential solutions.
At the end of the course, students will be asked to take a short quiz on what they learned, and upon passing, register their completion just as they would on the regular Williams Trading University channel. Every completion earns an entry into a monthly prize drawing where the more courses are completed, the more entries are earned.
