NEW YORK—A New York Times article published July 3 features pleasure products manufacturer Clio, makers of the PlusOne range of affordable sex toys which are carried by Walmart.
“The Man Who’s Putting More Sex Toys on Walmart’s Shelves” sees author Katie Van Syckle interviewing Jamie Leventhal, chief executive of Clio, the company whose products—developed specifically for the big-box retailer—are carried in 4,300 of Walmart’s 4,700 stores nationwide.
“I want to become the Kleenex if sex toys, the brand that you associate with sex toys,” Leventhal is quoted in the article.
Also featured in the article are Chad Braverman of Doc Johnson, and Alexandra Fine of Dame Products.
