The Dungeon Store Announces Magick Line on '69 Whiskey' Podcast

CYBERSPACE—Brittany Wilson, sales and marketing director for The Dungeon Store returned to the "69 Whiskey" podcast to announce the new lineup of spiritual and occult-related products coming to the store's booth at TES Fest in New Jersey this weekend.

The Dungeon Store is a curated collection of products for kink enthusiasts. Most of the gear Wilson sells is created and sourced by professionals in the BDSM community.

"69 Whiskey" hosts "Dollar Store Dom," Eric Weinstein, and Motorboatin' Matt, cover topics ranging from drinking recipes to comedy, kinky, and adult entertainment. The show was nominated for an AVN Award.

Wilson was surprised to find herself declared the favorite guest of the show, then quickly brought listeners up to speed about the latest news from The Dungeon Store.

"We just remodeled our entire display at The Baltimore Playhouse, it looks fire AF!" said Wilson. "Next week, I will see Eric at TES Fest in New Jersey… We have started carrying modern occultism and witchcraft stuff… and we're looking to grow that line over the course of the next year."

Wilson went on to discuss the additions of books on magic, hoodoo, voodoo, and oracle cards including the Sacred Feminine, the Naughty Oracle, and the African Gods deck.

"We also have Backwoods Witchcraft, which is Appalachian magic," Wilson explained. "If you've ever been to Appalachia, the people out there are magic. They're different. It's different. We actually carry the OG Appalachian magic book… We also have very fun tarot cards and oracle cards. We have what's called Mystic Martian Tarot. We have Cunt Tarot. We have Macabre Tarot, which is shaped like a little coffin."

The conversation moved to medical play toys, and selling BDSM gear at events.

"I think fear is good. I think that you should approach edge play and serious BDSM kinks with a little bit of fear," Wilson pointed out. "If people come in too confident, but sound like they don't know what they're talking about, I'll encourage them to go to class. If you come in fearful, but 'these are the classes I've been to, these are the scenes that I've watched…' I think then you're taking it seriously… We need to make sure ethically that we are not putting dangerous tools in dangerous hands."

TES Fest is from June 30 until July 4, 2023. For details on the event, go to TESFest.org.
