WOODLAND Hills, Calif.—The speakers, sessions and sponsors for the upcoming CatalystCon West event have been announced.

The conference, which is designed to spark discussion about sex and sexuality, is slated for Sept. 27-29 at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodlands Hills, Calif., and will feature more than 70 speakers and more than 40 sessions and panels on sexuality-based topics.
The sessions and workshops planned for CatalystCon West include a presentation on retro lesbian porn, advice for sexuality activists, a humanist perspective on male circumcision, a look at sex education in Australia and the Netherlands, and panel discussions on progressive swinging, sex-positive parenting, and sex and the media. Speakers include sex educators Carol Queen and Debby Herbenick; academics Constance Penley and Shira Tarrant; activists Robert Morgan Lawrence and William Winters, and industry superstars Nina Hartley, Tera Patrick and Jacky St. James, plus sex workers, sex writers, sex therapists and other experts.
