LAS VEGAS—Sin in the City has put out a call for presenters for a wide array of workshops for its 2020 installment, slated for Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 in Las Vegas.
Sin in the City welcomes attendees of all sexual orientations, gender expressions and identities, ages (18 and older), ethnicities and nationalities, physical abilities, and religious and political affiliations to participate in socials, the International Person of Leather contest, educational workshops, play parties, vendors, boot blacking and more.
Last year, the event drew more than 1,500 attendees.
Want to join the Sin in the City 2020 Family as a presenter? Submit an application at Sin-in-the-City.com/home-1/presenters no later than June 30 for consideration.
Sin in the City’s producer Jazz offers the following tips for would-be presenters:
• “We select our educational program each year with preference shown towards workshops and panels that are unique and not being seen at every event this year.”
• “If you have served as a presenter for us before, make sure to pitch workshops that you have not presented in prior years at Sin; we will NOT repeat workshops from you.”
• “Make sure to offer at least 5 workshop options, if possible; we generally expect each presenter to lead 2-3 workshops, and you will have the best shot at being selected if you offer a little variety we can consider when examining our educational balance.”
• “We are ESPECIALLY excited to see the proposals for the workshops for our new Advocacy Track this year, and look forward to creative workshops addressing the intersectionality of our sexual health, policy, advocacy, and our kinky sex!”
All applications must include a biography, photograph (or representational photo), titles, descriptions, and supplies requirements for each workshop, as well as contact information. Only complete applications will be accepted.
