LAS VEGAS—Organizers for the Altitude Intimates announced the seminar schedule for the spring show.
“With more than 70 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees, the Altitude show is already a success based upon early attendee registration,” said Val Jones, show organizer. “The trade show opens Monday morning, April 8, starting with a fashion show, followed by a slate of informative seminars dedicated to helping Altitude attendees improve their respective businesses.”
Altitude Intimates takes place April 8-10 at Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Key seminars include a roundtable on “Top Current Fashion Trends from Industry Leaders,” featuring Susan Feldman of DG Brands/Dreamgirl, Pilar Quihntana Williams of Yandy, Angela Tobo of Maple, Judy Valentine of J. Valentine and Star Salazar of Hustler.
Other seminars focus on the increasing importance of digital e-commerce in the industry, including “How Dropship is Accelerating Retail’s Digital Revolution” by Travis Mariea of Inventory Source and “Growing Your Business in the Digital Age” by Professor Lew Jaffe of Loyola Marymount University.
The slate of seminars opens with an overview of the “Top Issues, Challenges and Trends for the Retail & Wholesale Intimate Apparel Industry in 2019” presented by Jeff Watson, co-CEO is Yandy, who will focus on digital and e-commerce, and attorney Ted Luymes who will focus on legal issues.
An overview of the entire industry will first be presented by Christopher C. Scarf, long-time intimate apparel industry veteran.
“Helping Altitude attendees improve their respective business as well as keeping the informed about key fashion trends through fashion shows and seminars are among the many reasons why Altitude Intimates is the ending trade show within the industry,” said Scharff.
