LONDON—Rocks-Off Director Ian Marshall and IT apprentice Connor Martin recently shaved their heads as part of a fundraising effort for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Having hit their top target of £600 through generous donations, they’d committed to have all their locks completely chopped off.
“We’d like to thank everyone that has made a donation,” the men said. “Knowing that right from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to their treatment and beyond, Macmillan are a source of support and through kind donations we’re helping to enable that.”
Doing it in style and ensuring no hair was untouched, they endured a cut throat head shave at their local barbers Bugsys.
Cancer doesn’t just affect the body; it affects entire lives and the lives of people around them. The money Ian and Connor have raised will mean that Macmillan can be there for even more people now and in the future.
Donations are still being accepted and can be done here: BraveTheShave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers/rocks-off.
