In a review of their aggregated shopping data in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, shoppers have already ramped up their purchasing of couple’s toys, reported a Randy Fox spokesperson.
“We’ve already noticed that sales of couple’s toys are up almost 40% towards the later part of January when compared to the rest of the year” said Chief of Operations Chris Joseph. “It’s fascinating because generally you see an increase in these types of products in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, but not this much. Our customers aren’t even waiting for February either, they are planning for the day many weeks in advance.”
Joseph added that the marked increase in purchases of couple’s sex toys and bondage items in January was exciting and shows how more couples are now incorporating sex toys and kink into their Valentine’s Day plans. “Not only is the huge increase great to see, it’s also nice that people are preparing earlier for Valentine’s Day and switching things up from the traditional dinner, flowers or a movie. It just goes to show the growing acceptance of adult pleasure products in our wider community and in everyday life. We are really excited for the years to come too, these trends should continue to grow.”
