CYBERSPACE—Celebrated adult industry photographer Michael Dawson has decided to release his archives from the decade of the 1990s online. The photo galleries include portraits of many well-known actresses and starlets from the “World of Porn” dressed as fairies, wings and all, here.
Dawson was born and raised in England and worked as a press, international fashion, glamour and portrait photographer before moving to California in 1980 and marrying Judy Levy, owner of the Los Angeles Love Boutiques and the original Pleasure Faire Ladies Home Party Company.
He was a familiar figure networking and connecting at adult conventions and on the sets of video shoots. He created many portfolios for makeup artists, hair stylists, set designers, actresses, directors and producers as he explored the art and craft of erotic photography.
When asked how he dealt with the pressure of being around such intense temptation for so long, he replied that his motto was always, “Enter the zone, feel the love, take nothing personally.” Wise words from a consummate professional.
