WASSERBILLIG, Luxembourg—pjur has announced its sponsorship of Berlin's KiezTour, a unique tour through the history of the city’s queer neighborhood led by presenter, singer and entertainer Margot Schlönzke and other drag queens.
pjur CEO and founder Alexander Giebel explained, "Diversity, inclusion, tolerance, empowerment, and self-realization are important values for pjur. We encourage everyone to embrace a sex life free from taboos. That’s why it’s so important for us to support organizations like Berlin’s KiezTour."
Join the tour through the neighborhood around Berlin’s Nollendorfplatz. As the center of the queer community in the city for over 140 years, the area is Europe’s oldest queer district. Once a week, a popular Berlin drag queen leads visitors on a four-hour tour through the streets around Nollendorfplatz. Visitors get to take in historic locations, explore scene bars and fetish stores, and sample local delicacies, while journeying through the history of Berlin’s queer movement from the founding years and the "first German gay movement" to the golden twenties, life under a Nazi dictatorship, the 1980s and the modern day.
