LAS VEGAS—Steve Callow, President and CEO of Florida-based men’s sexual health products company Perfect Fit Brand, will be participating in a panel discussion on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the upcoming AVN Novelty Expo in Las Vegas.
"I’m thrilled to be part of this panel; I’ve seen many strategies in play to address the needs of these communities, and clearly there isn’t one 'right' way,” Callow said. “The changing landscape of retail in general, as well as the emergence of brands like ours, which don’t identify as gay or straight, yet play well into both markets, make for new challenges for the retailer.”
Callow will be on the “I’m Coming Out“ panel from 11 a.m. to noon in Festival Hall C near Paradise Tower, which discusses marketing to the LGBTQ community.
“Marketing sex toys to the LGBT consumer poses an interesting set of challenges,” reads the panel description. “Retailers need to gain understanding about everything from gender pronouns to sexual preferences, and all points in between. Panelists discuss how sales personnel can create inclusivity and an educated, safe space for LGBT consumers to shop comfortably, both online as well as in brick-and-mortar retail stores.” Berman will be joined by Coyote Amrich of Good Vibrations, Sarah Sloane of Sloane Consulting, and Stephanie Berman of Berman Innovations. The panel will be moderated by Anne Hodder.
