MysteryVibe Launches Its 1st-Ever Equity Crowdfunding Campaign

LONDON—Sexual health outfit MysteryVibe on Thursday launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. The funding from this round will go towards new product development, research and medical studies, team expansion and inventory building to support sales growth across the U.S. and U.K. This marks MysteryVibe’s first-ever equity crowdfunding campaign, following a year that saw its direct sales more than double. 

Since inception in 2014, MysteryVibe has been invested in the sexual health sector not just to create groundbreaking medical devices, but also to emphasize the importance of sexual health in the context of one's wellbeing. The company's first product, Crescendo, is designed to mimic human fingers, adapt to any body shape, and deliver targeted vibrations precisely where needed. Crescendo was followed by Tenuto, a wearable vibrator created to help with erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation and improved arousal during intercourse; and Poco, a compact bendable device that fits in the palm and was designed to help with Vulvodynia and other pain conditions. The MysteryVibe team has expanded its coverage and reach through more FDA II devices, educational content, marketing, endorsements and partnerships. Earlier this year, it become the first company to partner with Google Home to provide free sex education to 2 billion-plus devices. As MysteryVibe continues to innovate deeper into wider areas that affect sexual health—like its recently launched Universal Remote, which helps spinal injury patients regain arousal—its has continuously strived to mainstream a category that has been relegated to the fringes and shamed for years.
