BERLIN, DE—They're erotic, they're tattooed and they have no problem getting naked: This year's ambassadors Micaela Schäfer and Julia Jasmin Rühle aka JJ will be all over the 21st Venus Faire in Berlin. Even though both ladies clearly differ in their work and private lives, the most famous nude model in Germany and the former Berlin Day and Night star have one thing in common: much naked skin, which their fans are only too happy to ogle, and which is the perfect prerequisite for their jobs as Venus ambassadors.
But what do these ladies actually think about their job, and what roles do nudity and tattoos play in their relationships? Let's ask them!
For the sixth time, Micaela Schäfer will attend the largest erotic and lifestyle fair in Germany. As a veteran Venus model, the naked Micaela is especially supportive of her new colleague at the job. After all, the "teamgeist" is in demand at the trade fair. The pair are well on board with the fair's themes of eroticism and self-confidence; however, their tastes differ from one another in the choice of a partner.
"A man captivates me with his charisma, humor and breast hair à la David Hasselhoff," enthused Micaela Schäfer, while the native Russian Julia Jasmin Rühle aka JJ told us that, "A large, muscular cross-trained guy is who I find super-hot—if one has to rely only on men."
The CVs of the ambassadors are very different, though both can be summarized in three words: "Unexpected," "crazy" and "unforgettable." On her career as an ex-Berlin Day and Night actress, tattoo model and former Big Brother inhabitant, "La Mica" dreams of her own TV show like, for example, Germany's Next Top Erotic Model, though she realizes she still has a way to go. On the other hand, JJ, the red-haired export from Moscow, also stretches her expectations and speaks of "secret dreams" that she wants to realize, adding, "I want to teach people through my wide reach in the social media channels to smile more and condemn less."
In addition to the different viewpoints, the erotic models also share a soft spot for tattoos, though they differ on their preferred motifs.
"My first tattoo motif was a butterfly on the groin, which was my symbol for a new beginning, for independence and freedom," explained Micaela, the 28-year-old Venus virgin, emphasizing, "Every tattoo has its own meaning; it connects me with memories"
By contrast, JJ is a bit more conservative with her own body art.
"Every tattoo has its own meaning," she agreed, though, "Unlike my partner, however, I do not have that many. But two of mine do stand out as most extraordinary in Germany: my two nipple tattoos—and do not forget my neck tattoo. Since I see myself as one of the advertising faces of Europe's largest erotic fair, I fully support the 'I love Venus' slogan."
Despite different views, the erotic divas agree on one point: their anticipation of Venus.
"As an advertising ambassador to this great show, I bring people closer to eroticism," enthused JJ, adding, "Since I am not from the industry, I am looking forward to the challenge of Venus. I want to present eroticism from my own point of view."
Visitors and Venus fans will be able to enjoy the lovely ambassadors and more at Venus from October 12-15. A VIP ticket guarantees speedy admission and thus even faster access to the exhibition floor of the erotic fair. Besides the two ambassadors, many more stars will be in attendance and ready for autographs, photos and lots and lots of fun.
