NEW YORK—Nicotine replacement therapy brand Blip and DIRTY Magazine have announced an NYFW pop-up from Sept. 6 to 8, at Café Forgot located at 29 Ludlow Street in the Dimes Square area of New York City. The event features a custom-designed “newsstand” that blends fashion, culture, and a commitment to health and harm reduction.
The "Stand" emphasizes a modern approach to health and moderation, offering Blip’s nicotine lozenges, gum, and non-nicotine toothpicks as solutions for managing cravings. The Stand at Café Forgot also will showcase a diverse array of 18-plus magazines, including DIRTY, which is known for its levity and provocative content. This installation highlights how managing personal habits can be both effective and fashionable, setting a new standard for lifestyle choices.
The activation underscores DIRTY Magazine’s ongoing commitment to advancing public health awareness. Since its founding, DIRTY has supported harm reduction models with initiatives like Narcan and fentanyl test strips distribution, aimed at addressing the overdose crisis. This pop-up continues DIRTY’s mission to integrate health consciousness into contemporary culture, making safe consumption and harm reduction a key part of the lifestyle conversation.
Hours for the pop-up café include Sept. 6, between 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. EST, and Sept. 7 to 8, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. EST. On Friday, Sept. 6, an opening ceremony will include a two-hour open bar at Café Forgot, with drinks sponsored by Misguided Spirits.
