SAN JOSE, Calif—The Indiegogo crowdfunding event for LELO’s Hex condom is now in its final week.
To date, more than 30,000 people have pledged to back the condom before its global launch this week. All backers save 30 percent on the condoms.
LELO designers created the Hex condom, which is constructed much like a honeycomb for added strength and flexibility, after seven years of development. The manufacturer launched the creation on Indiegogo.com and LELO.com and more than $1 million has been pledged, meaning more than 600,000 condoms were sold to backers.
