KushKards Founder Profiled in Stationary Trends Magazine

DENVER—KushKards Founder Lauren Miele has been profiled as one of the "10 Makers to Watch in 2024" by Stationery Trends Magazine.

“I am so grateful to Sarah Schwartz and Stationery Trends for naming KushKards and myself as a Maker to Watch in 2024,” said Miele. “Before embarking on the KushKards journey, Stationery Trends guided my work as an accessory designer in New York City.”

Stationery Trends’ Makers to Watch roundup annually spotlights esteemed artists' businesses that are making significant waves in the world of greeting cards, stationery, and related products.

Miele, who also serves as the sole product designer and driving force behind KushKards and its sister brand NaughtyKards, shared personal insights about the risks and rewards of being a crossover entrepreneur in the cannabis, gift, and sexual wellness industries.

“From showcasing the original KushKard prototype in 2013 to moving to Denver in 2016, transitioning from textiles to cannabis-inspired cards has been a cherished evolution,” she said. “Being recognized as the disruptor in the paper industry is an honor, and I look forward to the future as a Maker to Watch in 2024. Cheers to overcoming challenges as an entrepreneur, and starting 2024 on such a high note!”

Miele's journey began in 2015 when she founded KushKards, dubbed as “a gift with a lift,” with a vision to offer a unique and memorable way to celebrate special occasions while embracing a passion for cannabis culture.

KushKards and NaughtyKards have been featured in numerous publications and in adult, cannabis, gift, and smoke retail stores across the country.
