LOS ANGELES—A group of adult industry experts have launched Concept to Consumer Collective LLC, a new sexual wellness and sex tech consulting group to assist companies in delivering innovative sex toys to market.
The new startup aims to offer clients assistance in developing new products with its in-house experts in branding, marketing, product and packaging design, engineering, logistics and fulfilment.
“We wanted to be able to provide a wider range of services and opportunities to businesses already in the industry and have those services available from people who understand how unique and wonderful our market is, because they have lived it, work in it and know the global dynamics of it," said company co-founder and CEO Gary Ayckbourn.
The company brings together a team of industry professionals with established and successful businesses within the adult market worldwide. The founders alone have more than 150 years of experience and expertise in the industry.
“With the expansion of adult products outside our traditional market, we run the risk of being left behind or left out completely. We wanted to create this collective of people within the adult industry to ensure we have a voice and that if mainstream brands want to explore the possibilities, they are talking to people who come from the business," Ayckbourn said. "For example, if they want a sexologist, I would much rather it was someone like Dr. Sunny Rodgers, who has been in the business for over 25 years, knows it inside out and will represent us properly. If we can have a voice and a central point for us to work together, we can be stronger than ever and define the future of the industry, like we have shaped its past and present.”
