FT London Reports Theft of Items at Close of Venus Berlin

HANNOVER, Germany—FT London, makers of the G-Vibe and other pleasure products, reported the theft of several items while reps were packing up after the recent Venus Berlin show.

FT London reps said the value of items lost exceeds 50,000 euros.

In an email to colleagues and clients, the company said boxes with products form the manufacturer’s booth were packed and left at the fairgrounds to be loaded onto trucks, but when reps arrived at the site, many of the boxes were torn into and product missing.

To add insult to injury, the email said, when a company rep left the area to meet with police, another four boxes were stolen.

“Since the sex toys are specific products,  a further sale by the thieves is quite difficult,” the email reads. “Please inform us if you receive an offer to purchase FT goods from an unauthorized seller (here is the list of our distributors http://gvibe.com/distributors-worldwide). This will help the investigation.”
