LOS ANGELES—Jay E. Moyes of FetishArtist.net will be appearing at two shows this weekend in Pasadena and San Francisco.
On Friday, Oct. 4, Moyes will be the opening of “The Original Coaster Show” at Gallery 30 South, 30 South Wilson Ave., Pasadena. On Saturday, Oct. 5, will be coming to Wicked Grounds Cafe at 289 8th St., San Francisco, to close out the solo art show, “Our Wicked Brew.”
“The Original Coaster Show” is a group show started by Matt Kennedy of Gallery 30 South, where artwork is created and presented on four inch beer coasters or board of the same size.
This year Moyes submitted five kinky pieces to Gallery 30 South for the show. All five were approved and will be on display until Oct. 27. Additional erotic artists on display include Sara Jane Hardt, JoKa, Devon Rae, Christiane Shillito, Chance Garrick Williams, and Petites Luxures. Moyes’s submissions for the show are double sided. B-sides can be found at FetishArtist.net.
The next evening, Moyes will be at Wicked Grounds Cafe in San Francisco for the closing reception of “Our Wicked Brew,” the artist’s first official solo show in years.
“This is an exciting double feature for me,” said Moyes. “Huge thanks to Matt Kennedy of Gallery 30 South for inviting me to show this year. I’m humbled and impressed by the talent he keeps bringing in. And I am very grateful to Wicked Grounds for giving me the opportunity to show this year. The first 30 guests for the closing party at Wicked Grounds get a sticker based on the artwork I created for the show poster. I’ll be signing copies of Barely Evil, featuring my artwork, and bringing some new pieces to debut before we call it a night on this successful show.”
