Eye of Love’s Jacqui Rubinoff Speaks at 'Sex On The Beach' Event

LOS ANGELES—Pheromone expert and vice president of pheromone fragrance brand Eye of Love, Jacqui Rubinoff, took the stage to speak at the third annual "Sex On The Beach" event in Venice Beach, Los Angeles on the evening of Aug. 8.

Actress Serena Kerrigan hosted the event, and Margie Plus moderated a Q&A panel with Rubinoff on the science of pheromones. The panel discussion explored topics like the power of pheromones to improve friendships and careers, myths about pheromones, and fragrance-layering with odorless pheromone perfume.

The following are key takeaways from the discussion:

• While odorless by nature, pheromones get picked up by the vomeronasal organ (VNO) in humans. One of the easiest ways to notice their presence is by paying attention to signaller effects. If you are obsessed with the way a person smells, most likely, there are pheromones at play.
• Labeled as an "invisible ally," pheromone perfumes help highlight a person’s natural pheromones, which they tend to mask in their everyday lives, therefore making them more attractive to others.
• Gender-fluid pheromone perfumes, like Eye of Love’s "Matchmaker Attract Them" are a unique option on the market to make new social connections as they attract people of different genders

The night included workshops, brand activations, tarot readings, and a sex toy station for guests to learn about all things pleasure. Eye of Love’s bestselling products were present in over 200 gift bags.

Said Rubinoff, "It was an honor to share my knowledge about pheromones at the 'Sex on the Beach' event. As pheromone perfumes increasingly become an integral part of the wider beauty category, we’re witnessing a significant shift in consumer interest. It’s an exciting time for pheromone brands, and events like 'Sex on the Beach' are not only spotlighting this niche but also paving the way for startups to innovate and thrive in the space."
