BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Eldorado Trading Company, an award-winning distributor of adult toys, lingerie, and party supplies, has coordinated its 15th annual Thanksgiving fundraising campaign to collect food and money donations for the Community Food Share, a local Colorado nonprofit that provides food to hundreds of local families and senior citizens in need. Eldorado employees contributed $1,647, which was matched by Eldorado CEO, Wanda Garland, for a total donation of $3,284.
One in 10 Coloradans worry about where their next meal will come from. Every dollar donated to the Community Food Share helps provide $5 worth of groceries. Eldorado’s donation will help to fill the Community Food Share’s mobile pantry truck, which provides enough food to feed 200 families for a week.
The annual Community Food Share drive is a cherished Eldorado initiative. Wanda Garland shares, "The Community Food Share drive is one of my favorite Eldorado traditions because it provides the opportunity for us to serve our neighbors. Community partnership and education helps to bring awareness to the ongoing challenges of food insecurity."
