EDSE Taps Cameron Glover to Lead Careers in Sex Ed Convo

LOS ANGELES—Everyone Deserves Sex Ed has tapped sex educator, writer and podcast host Cameron Glover to train attendees of EDSE’s upcoming 25-hour sex educator certification program, scheduled Nov. 9-10 and 16-17 in Los Angeles.

Glover will lead the Careers in Sex Ed portion, helping attendees understand how to build a career path in the sexuality field and utilize their valuable skills outside the classroom or client environment.

“I have always been passionate about building and supporting community, and my projects are designed to give people the tools and information they need to succeed,” Glover said. “I’m excited to bring my knowledge as a sexuality professional and writer to the next EDSE training and show attendees the myriad valuable ways they can use their certifications for professional development and social progress.”

EDSE founder and lead educator Anne Hodder-Shipp, ACS, chose Glover to teach this portion of the certification because of her unique ability to hold space while incorporating social justice-centric perspectives and themes into the educational environment.

“Cameron has been an active and passionate voice in the sexuality community, and I knew she’d be a perfect fit for the Careers in Sex Ed section of the EDSE certification,” Hodder-Shipp said. “Her popular Becoming a Sexuality Professional workshop has helped guide so many budding educators, and her ‘Sex Ed in Color’ podcast showcases the important stories often left out of mainstream sex ed discussions. I’m excited to have Cameron join the teaching team this November!”

Glover specializes in developing resources that help people embrace their personal power through exploring identity, social justice, and the sexual experience. Known for her insightful and thought-provoking podcast Sex Ed in Color, Glover also leads workshops dedicated to helping clients build a professional presence in the sexuality field and identify how their unique skills and passions can benefit their communities and beyond.

The next EDSE certification will take place Nov. 9-10 and 16-17 in Los Angeles. Individual certification is $2,095, and payment plans are available to those in need.

To apply, fill out the form at EveryoneDeservesSexEd.com/certification/. An EDSE representative will review and be in contact within 48 hours of submission.
