HIGHTSTOWN, N.J.—East Coast News is giving back this November through their annual “Movember” initiative, and they are encouraging all industry members to ditch the razor for the month in support of men’s health.
“Our staff will start fresh and without facial hair on Nov. 1st,” said a representative of East Coast News. “We are happy to support such a wonderful charity in the Movember Foundation, as many of us have been affected one way or the other by the causes championed by the Movember Foundation.”
For 2019, East Coast News has partnered with System JO, Aneros and Bathmate to reinforce their efforts. System JO has provided shaving essentials to all participants, and all three companies are offering incentives to any ECN employee that participates.
According to their website, “Since 2003 Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.”
“Our vendor partners and customers will definitely want to check out our social media accounts all month long,” said the ECN rep. “We will be posting updates and photos of everyone who is participating, tracking their progress, and seeing who has the best facial hair in the company!”
If you would like to contribute to ECN’s donation at the end of the month, please contact your ECN representative. For more information on the Movember Foundation, including ways to donate yourself and raise awareness all month, visit Movember.com.
