HOUSTON—Houston Heights-based luxury boutique Darling Way kicks off its Erotic Education Series with “Pleasure 101” on Saturday, Jan. 7.
Psychotherapists and sex therapists Jane Bintz, MA, LMFT, LPC, and Eliza Boquin, MA, LMFTA, will share professional advice on how attendees can reach new levels of erotic pleasure.
“As we well know, sensual awareness can often be the difference between simply living and being alive,” says Darling Way owner Beth Liebling. “At Darling Way, we believe our bodies are the greatest gift we receive in life, and our mission is to help people find respectful and healthy means of enjoying the pleasures so offered. At this event, we will identify and address all of the factors involved in embracing pleasure: namely, the mind, the body, and the heart. Our guest workshop leaders will offer practical information and ideas about how each of us must allow or disallow pleasure, and how to recognize ways in which we do so. Attendees will leave with insights and ideas about what they would like to bring into their lives this year, as well as how they can make it happen.”

A Licensed Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist, Bintz’s passion for helping people with everyday struggles and their intimate relationships contributed to her interest in learning more about sex and the impact it has on lives. Noticing how many people were struggling in this department with their sexual selves and intimate relationships, Bintz decided to get more specialized training and entered the Sex Therapy program at the University of Michigan. Jane is a professional member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Houston Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF).
