LAS VEGAS—Beth Liebling, founder and owner of Houston Heights-based luxury boutique Darling Way, will be participating in a panel discussion on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the upcoming AVN Novelty Expo in Las Vegas.
Dubbed “the CES of sex toys” by Wired magazine, the trade-only show for pleasure product professionals takes place at the Paradise Tower in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and will be restricted to trade attendees.
“It's my absolute pleasure to share what I have learned about running my business with colleagues from across the country; this is how I pay forward the guidance I have received from so many others,” Liebling said. “There is no replacement for the camaraderie, support, and experience one gains from attending ANE, and it's an honor to be included as a speaker.”
Liebling will be participating in Mo Money, Mo Problems from 11 a.m. to noon at Festival Hall C near Paradise Tower, which discusses financial issues that face adult companies.
“Too often, adult-related businesses are turned down for everything from merchant accounts, to loans to basic checking accounts just because of the nature of the business,” reads the panel discussion. “Find out how to avoid these pitfalls when it comes to dealing with transaction processors, banks, venture capital groups and more. Also learn tricks of the trade to maximize e-tailing profits and maximizing customer retention.”
Liebling will be joined by Kelly Shibari of ThePRSMGroup, Kim Airs of Grand Opening, Mitch Farber of NetBilling and Gary Jackson of CCBill; the panel will be moderated by Sherri L. Shaulis, AVN senior editor of pleasure products.
