WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Channel 1 Releasing, the gay owned and operated adult entertainment company, has announced that it has received two nominations for the 2021 AVN Awards, which are scheduled to be held virtually on Jan. 23 in Las Vegas, NV.
Channel 1's Boneyard Toys division received a nomination for Best Pleasure Product Manufacturer—Medium, which the company said it found to be especially meaningful since this is the first time the company has been upgraded to the "medium" category, an indication of the growth that the company has experienced over the past year. Chi Chi LaRue’s retail store in West Hollywood was also nominated for Best Retail Chain—Small. (The company also opened a second location this year at the former Circus of Books, which was not opened early enough to be considered for this year's awards.)
