It's come to AVN's attention that one or two members of the porn community are into tattoos, and there are certainly plenty of websites, magazines and art books that will feed that interest—but now there's a new one, this time from European art book publisher Goliath: Tattoo Super Models, by renown photographer Christian Saint. Yes, the company that's published books by such familiar names as Holly Randall, Charles Gatewood, Dave Naz and several others has released a 144-page volume totally devoted to highly decorated women, shot with a top photographer's eye for light and pose.
"For many years, social critics have been trying to make young people aware of the fact that tattoos will last for a lifetime and that the insights of an 18-year-old might differ to the way they perceive things when they are 40," the book's introduction begins. For those not familiar with Saint, he's a Brooklyn-based fine art photographer with over 20 years of experience in the world of commercial advertising and celebrity portraiture—but according to his biography, he just got tired of the advertising industry's "narrow view of beauty," so he decided to seek out women with beautiful, elaborate tattoos, and dedicate the current volume to them.
