NEW YORK—Stephanie Berman, CEO of Berman Innovations, will appear on two New York-based internet talk shows this week: “Derek and Romaine”and “Love is the Drug with Zara Barrie.”
Berman Innovations is the manufacturer of The Semenette and POPDildo.
“Derek and Romaine” is a popular afternoon drive talk show The Washington Post called "frisky, free-wheeling… a distinctly different brand of radio." Filled with free-form chatter, candid and frank discussions, and tons of laughs, the show is a unique podcast experience hosted by the gay/lesbian duo Derek Hartley and Romaine Patterson. Now in its 12th year, the show is a wild and witty romp, interacting with a wide variety of celebrity guests, including Samuel L. Jackson, Rosie O’Donnell, Meredith Vieira, Perez Hilton, and Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, as well as experts and real people sharing personal experiences.
Berman will be on “Derek and Romaine” at 6 p.m. EDT Monday, March 6. To listen in, visit DerekAndRomaine.com. A subscription is required; every subscription comes with a free, no-risk, two-day trial.
“I’m honored to be asked back to ‘Derek and Romaine’ to chat all things POP and ejaculating dildos!” Berman said. “I often have to censor myself when doing interviews, so I love being able to speak candidly and share my embarrassing, yet entertaining stories. You never know where conversations of ejaculating dildos will take you, especially with Derek and Romaine, so I’m genuinely looking forward to this!”
“Talking sex and baby-making with Stephanie is a blast,” Romaine said. “Not only has she come up with a genius item to make insemination sexy, she has taken a fun approach to talking about it as well. And who doesn’t want to talk about dildos that actually squirt? On ‘Derek and Romaine’ we live to talk about such things! We are just lucky to have found someone who is willing to talk about it with us. Stephanie is not only the brilliant mind behind The Semenette, but she is a great guest who can speak to anyone looking for a practical toy.”
Berman also will appear on “Love is the Drug with Zara Barrie” at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday, March 7. The show airs online via Facebook Live. To view, visit Facebook.com/zarabarriewords.
Zara Barrie is a writer and talk show host who identifies as a “mascara lesbian”. She was the senior sex and dating writer Elite Daily, “the Millenials’ preferred platform for today’s hot issues and trending topics, from politics to dating and everything in between,” and founded the site’s queer culture topic page. She also writes for GO Magazine, the nation’s most widely read free lesbian publication.
“I’m so excited to have Stephanie on the show!” Barrie said. “My greatest passion is engaging with fascinating people who are on the forefront of human sexuality. Stephanie's product is a game changer in the evolution of queer sexuality!”
“I met Zara a few months ago, and she wrote one of my favorite articles about POP by The Semenette,” said Berman. “She brings a young, fun, honest, and raw perspective to all of her writing, which is not only brave, but refreshing. I admire when writers are willing to personalize their work and make themselves vulnerable to the world. Zara continues to do that, and more, with her show, ‘Love is the Drug.’ I’m super thrilled to be a guest and chat about a whole range of fun topics with her, including of course, POPDildo!”
Berman has been in the women’s reproductive health industry since 2003. As co-owner and Vice President of her family business, Sepal Reproductive International, as well as CEO of The Semenette, Stephanie has extensive knowledge and understanding of the women’s reproductive health market. The company’s flagship product, The Semenette, and its second iteration, POPDildo, allow partners to mimic traditional intercourse, and re-create the ejaculation process in the privacy of their own home through its proprietary inner tubing and pump system—something that sets it apart from both traditional dildos and “party”-style ejaculating toys. Berman herself is the first of many success stories for The Semenette; she and her wife successfully used the product to conceive their daughter and son.
Both The Semenette and POPDildo are made of premium medical-grade silicone, and are non-toxic and phthalate-free. For more information, visit POPDildo.com.
