MELBOURNE, Australia—The latest installment of AdultEx, Australia’s largest annual adult B2B trade exhibition presented by Calvista, ended its three-done run last Friday and saw dozens of companies showcasing the latest and most innovative products from the world’s leading manufacturers of adult toys, lingerie, lubricants, sexual wellness products and novelty items.
Now in its 13th year, AdultEx 2017 was co-sponsored by Pipedream and Calexotics and held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Queensland from 26-28 April, attracting close to 40 exhibitors and hosting more than 200 guests.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response we had from vendors participating and new to AdultEx 2017 was LELO, Fifi and Zumio. We had a few surprises at the show,” said Roger Sheldon-Collins, general manager of Calvista.
With the first ever AdultEx Industry Forum focused on Sexual Wellness was facilitated by Dr. Sally Cockburn known in the media also as “Dr. Feelgood,” Australia's leading health communicator. Along with more than 30 years’ clinical experience, Cockburn has also worked extensively for more than two decades in television, radio and in print media.
The panel members of the Sexual Wellness Forum were joined by Australian Politician Fiona Pattern, pjur’s CEO and founder Alexander Giebel, Steve Traplin from Zumio, Certified Clinical Sexologist & Professional Sex Coach at Pipedream Sunny Rodgers, founder and Managing Director of Le Wand and b-Vibe Alicia Sinclair, and Paul Whyte, founder and owner of Gel Works. The 90-minute forum was engaging and allowed all panel members and the audience to discuss the links between sexual health wellbeing and the adult industry.
The annual AdultEx Awards were presented at the Venetian Masquerade Party that was held at the lavish Palazzo Versace 5 Star hotel on the Gold Coast sponsored by Pipedream. This themed party featured a live band, DJ, roving performers and a fun interactive casino that was enjoyed by all as the most memorable AdultEx party ever.
