LOS ANGELES—The buzz is growing over the hot new board game enticing couples and vendors alike: XXX Truth or Dare.

The energetic startup producing the sophisticated, high-class game attended the XBiz show merely to dip its toes in the water and test the market, but ended up selling orders for nearly 75 percent of its entire inventory and immediately restocking.

The company was ecstatic about the response from attendees and exhibitors, which far exceeded its humble expectations.

“We can’t begin to describe the interest we have gained from XBIZ 2012. Our goal was to present our products, gain exposure and to get a feel for the market for a better understanding of the requirements of distributors and retailers. The large 24-inch by 18-inch board size featuring quality alluring graphics proved engaging to players. Industry legends Ron Jeremy, Misty Stone, Alec Knight and James Bartholet were also on hand at the booth to show their enthusiasm and support for the game, sharing spicy anecdotes from late night sessions.
