BRISTOL, Pa.—Crossover distributor XGen Products announced today a retail display contest with a fairly unique prize—a turnkey lingerie section for their store.
Retailers are being asked to develop a creative display for another popular XGen line, Pleasure Wigs. The winning display will earn its creator a fully-stocked Lapdance merchandising kit, including a 36-inch vinyl plan-o-gram, slat wall hooks, and 126 packaged garments, for a $750 value.
“We are giving someone a no-risk, no-investment opportunity to launch an apparel department in their store,” said Andy Green, XGen vice president. “At the same time, we’re encouraging all of our customers to re-imagine how they display Pleasure Wigs. Ultimately, we envision retailers cross-merchandising Pleasure Wigs, Lapdance, and our Eye Candy lines—so our goal is to trigger inclusive planning and creativity.”
The contest begins today and will conclude March 19. XGen will collect photos of the Pleasure Wigs displays by email ([email protected]), and will announce the winner at their ILS Booth (216) inLas Vegas on March 26.
