Von Gutenberg Magazine Hits the Street

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—The first issue of Von Gutenberg has hit the streets. Straight out of the Bay Area, the magazine explores alternative fashion, lifestyles and fashion.

Erik Von Gutenberg, the publisher of the high-end magazine, is the promoter and host of the Von Gutenberg Fetish Balls in San Francisco. The first issue has in-depth articles and pictorials of Ava Garter, Anastasia Pierce and Penthouse Pet of the Year Heather Vandeven, who graces the premier issue’s cover.

Fashion-forward companies grace the glossy pages, and photographer Justice Howard brings classic fairytales to life in an enchanting four-page layout. Also included are columns by sexologist Midori and Nurse Laurel of MedicalToys.com.

Von Gutenberg retails for $19 and is published quarterly. The magazine is distributed by RCS Distribution and can be found on Amazon.com, nationwide in Barnes & Noble and newsstands around the country. It is already available in Europe.

“I am very excited about Von Gutenberg magazine and my partnership with Erik,” says RCS owner Mike Werner. “There are a lot of magazines out there, but nothing quite like this. I have a feeling the premiere issue is going to sell extraordinarily well. And we already have thousands of potential retailers interested in carrying Von Gutenberg.”

Entrepreneur and publisher Erik Von Gutenberg said, “We have strived for this magazine to be very different and extremely memorable. I’m excited about the first issue and hope it will be well received, but I’m even more excited about the future issues that will have some well-known cover models from the music industry along with other alternative and creative names who are famous in every corner of the globe. I would tell you who, but then it wouldn’t be a surprise.”
