Trigg Labs Names HIV Activist, Model Jack Mackenroth Wet Platinum Man Of The Month

LOS ANGELES—HIV activist and model Jack Mackenroth was selected by Trigg Labs, the makers of Wet personal lubricants, to be the Wet Platinum Man of the Month for August.

Mackenroth’s selection for the honor is part of the lubricant manufacturer’s monthly contest.

“It is an honor to be selected as the Wet Platinum Man of the Month,” said Mackenroth. “I am passionate about HIV education, and I’m excited to be aligned with a company that promotes healthy and safe sexual habits. Together with Trigg Labs, I’m eager to bring more awareness to HIV testing and to show people that you can’t tell who has HIV just by looking at them.”

Since his HIV diagnosis in 1989, Jack Mackenroth has been on a mission to educate, promote HIV testing and eradicate the stigma of being HIV positive. He is the national spokesperson for the successful HIV education campaign “Living Positive by Design” sponsored by Merck and he also created the HIV Equal Campaign specifically to combat the HIV stigma.

"Jack Mackenroth truly epitomizes the Wet Platinum Man," said Michael Trigg, founder of Trigg Laboratories. "Jack proves every day that there are great people in this world who stand up for their beliefs and keep fighting for good causes. Jack’s tireless effort to raise HIV awareness is a perfect fit with our company mission."

The company began the contest last month and will continue selecting a different Wet Platinum Man of the Month every month. To enter, go to www.facebook.com/wetplatinumman for consideration.
